PRODUCTION AND SELLING OF ORGANIC HONEY AND ORGANIC WINE
We produce and sell organic honey and organic wine
Our farm is located in Fontanella, just 200 m far from the old Abbey of S. Egidio (1080 after Christ)
The farm is nestled in the pristine green of the woods of the surrounding hills and boasts around 40 years of experience in the beekeeping sector.
Always environmentally conscious, we have been one of the first farm to receive the Organic Certification (by ICEA certification body)
We are recommended by Slow Food for the quality of our products, in particular wine and honey
We produce a great variety of certified organic honey, both single-flower and mixed-flower honey.
Among the most appreciated and rare varieties produced we can mention : organic lime honey, cherry honey and dandelion honey, in addition to the most well-known chestnut honey, acacia honey, honeydew honey, …
We also produce and sell royal jelly, propolis and pollen.
Thanks to a patient work, we succeeded in recovering a centuries-old vineyard that we have then integrated with new and particular varieties.
We produce two different certified organic wines:
Marzemino: the organic wine mentioned in the opera “Don Giovanni” of Mozart. It’s a very difficult variety to cultivate and it’s characterized by the fact that the first two buds of every shoots are always sterile. The production is consequently limited however of high quality.
Rebo: takes its name from the well-known agronomist Rebo Rigotti. It’s created by the crossing of Teroldego and Merlot.
